Dennis Millard graduated from the University of Western Australia with a Bachelor Degree in Medicine and completed his internship at Fremantle Hospital before relocating to the Gold Coast to work in Emergency and Intensive Care medicine in the public sector.
Dennis has always had a keen interest in the field of aesthetics and holistic medicine however, it wasn’t until a horrifying surfing accident that required him to undergo reconstructive facial surgery that sparked a new passion in the field of cosmetic medicine. While working in the Gold Coast, Dennis was also able to further his training and knowledge in the field of cosmetic medicine.
Upon returning to Perth, Dennis established Utopian Cosmetics with the vision of helping people feel better about themselves both inside and out.
These days he balances his time working in Anaesthetics at some of the state’s leading public hospitals and as Lead Clinician and Director for Utopian Cosmetics. Dennis is highly passionate about the field of medical cosmetics and enjoys helping his patients achieve happiness and confidence within themselves.
What you may not know about Dennis:
Is an avid surfer and is part of the group called “Surfing Doctors”, a not for profit organisation aimed at educating other doctors in the field of Remote Emergency Aquatic Medicine. The group also dedicates itself to raising funds to help developing communities in places such as Java and Solomon Islands with the provision of medical supplies and the creation of medical centres to service local communities.
Dr Millard was also previously a winemaker before becoming a doctor and funded his medical studies through various modelling jobs with internationally renowned agency Chadwick Models.
